Brand Refresh
In my first few months with the firm, I refined our visual identity. This included a logo cleanup, more defined lockups, and scaling back the massive color palette and font families approved for use. This helped the firm align and implement these brand assets more consistently across collateral.
Brand Photography
With these brand updates came other visual changes to the brand, like new brand photography and animations. The firm wanted an against-the-grain style, while still timeless and classy. I created key style treatments for the brand, like our high-contrast black & white photography with full color foregrounds, and transparent cut-outs. These treatments were applied to all brand photography to increase visual recognition among viewers.
Staff Headshots
As our firm took on new staff, I staged and shot staff headshots, ensuring brand standards were kept across lighting, locations, and poses. After shooting, I edited the photos in our signature style.
Website Redesign
After finalizations to the visual identity and positioning, I took on the task of redesigning our bulky 300+ page website. Beginning with the homepage, we scaled back our design to highlight the firm's best features: their results, reviews, and reputation. We carried those pillars throughout the site and the brand, calling back to those points in several campaigns.
Billboards
Once our site was revamped and live, we began our venture into billboard marketing. Since our firm wanted the strategic positioning of being a client-first firm instead of a face-forward brand, I was met with the challenge of creating compelling billboard designs with graphics and text only.
Email Newsletter
Another new implementation to the firm was the addition of email newsletters. Though they have not been deployed yet, the firm has several issues designed & written, ready-to-go at a moment's notice.
Magazine Ads
Part of our brand refresh and new advertising efforts, we also had to update our magazine ad designs. Most of our advertisements were in attorney-facing publications, so we decided to market our compelling attorney referral system to the lawyers that were likely to read through the magazine.
Custom Merch
Something new that we introduced to the firm was custom merch. Our attorneys and paralegals have started to hand out client appreciation gifts at disbursement with our promo items inside. After we realized how well this was received, we decided to create more bespoke merch for sponsorships, events, and collaborations.
